First spring migrant sitings this week include Indigo Buntings, Rose Breasted Grosebeak, Baltimore Oriole, and Orchard Oriole. The forest is showing lots of Trillium in full bloom, along with Spring Beauties, Trout Lillies, Marsh Marigolds, and many more. We're on a learning curve with plant and bird identification, so bear with us!

Jon Brouchoud is a freelance designer, co-founder of Crescendo Design, and founder of ARCH Virtual. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and his independent design credits include the Gallery of Reflexive Architecture, Architecture Islands, and the award-winning Wikisonic installation at The Tech Museum in San Jose. While working with Berkeley-based Clear Ink, he worked extensively on Autodesk Island, the virtual U.S. House of Representatives, Linden Lab’s Virtual Headquarters, TED Island, and recently completed design and construction of the new Metanomics event space for Remedy Communications.
